I understand that these force updates are usually security patches which are always great to keep up to date, but the underlining system they use is simply frustrating.

Better Tip: Put your device in Battery Save mode, this stops updates from even downloading!! And you will get better battery lol

Ok can we cut the drama already
I have been using windows 10 since day 1 and it never restarted when i was in the middle of something
Even if it reaches the specified time it notifies you and it can be postponed

In fact Windows tried to "upgrade" aggressively from Windows 8.1 (which I made it look just like Windows 7) to 10 so I blocked it.

I'm on windows 10 since the very beginning and never had that problem where windows just automatically reboot himself while I'm using it.

Why don't people just check on their updates once every 2 days or so. I don't get why some people hate updating their PCs. At this day and age, a 1TB 5400rpm HDD is very cheap, so why the unnecessary hastle of not updating your system's OS? Storage isn't a problem. Lazy bums. I check on updates everyday, so you should too.

or you can prevent Windows from rebooting by itself when allowing updates that is another feature. This is why I usually do any important work on Ubuntu. Just sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade and forget it. Also never needs a reboot
